Claire was just tremendous tonight across the boards. I just feel that it is obvious she is playing her best basketball this season. Going into this tournament, I am just completely convinced that she is going to assert herself as the best player in the tournament. I think she is that good.

In the second half, I think the difference was that we didn't finish shots. I thought our execution was still as intense, we were committed, we didn't turn the ball over - but we didn't finish our shots.

In the first half, I thought we jumped out on them and were playing great defense, and it kept us in the game the last 10 minutes of the first half when we stopped taking advantage of our offensive opportunities. I thought we carried that over to the second half.

I loved the way we finished tonight, and I loved the way we finished the first half. It took us awhile to get cranked up defensively, but we really started getting aggressive there.

It was just a dog fight every possession. It wasn't pretty. It was a real defensive battle. In the end, I'm just glad we came out on top.

It's a great statement of how quality basketball is supported here in the Manhattan community. Our fans were tremendous. I just can't say enough about how rare it is to have a packed house for women's basketball.

They are a really physically, strong basketball team that plays so smart. They execute really well, and they have a real exciting freshman in Griffin. With Hardy they've got one of the best playmakers in the league, and their post players are so solid.

This is an extremely tough place to play, as you saw by the Iowa State comeback in the second half. Our team refused to let the momentum shift.

Consistency is elusive for her. I think it's something she continues to strive for... but when you're surrounded by young players, that can be a difficult element.

We went through segments of the game, that I thought we struggled a little bit with carelessness. I think some of our turnovers were because we forced players late in the shot clock to try and go make a play.
